Know your Privacy – #BeCyberSmart

I have often written about privacy – it is an important concept that we should all understand – especially if you run a business and process personally identifiable information (PII). Here is a useful article for business owners from The Conversation discussing how UK citizen view and manage their personal data.

Don’t know how your data is used, or how to protect it? You’re not alone – but you can improve your data literacy (theconversation.com)

Also so you think that the “pop-ups” asking users to agree to how you can use their personal data and cookies are fulfilling your compliance responsibilities? Well may be it doesn’t.

Those pop-up ‘I agree’ boxes aren’t just annoying – they’re potentially dangerous (theconversation.com)

This article is a little different from normal. Please read these two articles they will give you view of “privacy” from your user’s point of view. With this hopefully you can craft your own approach to your user’s privacy. But if you still need help then we have some privacy frameworks that you and your team can work through with us to guide you to a better privacy policies across your organisation.
