I have just finished listening to the first episode of the Reith Lectures 2021, delivered by Professor Stuart Russell, founder of the Centre for Human-Compatible Artificial Intelligence, at the University of California, Berkeley.
It was excellent – I am looking forward to the next three episodes. Any one with an interest in the future, the way technology will shape it and the way this future will impact ordinary people will enjoy this.
Listen at 56:26 – How can individuals have power?
I read the Rory Cellan-Jones interview with Professor Stuart Russell a few days ago and put the time of the programme in my calendar, with an alert, so I would not miss it.
