The technical abuse can include spyware installed on computers, laptops and other devices, unauthorised access to email and social media accounts to the more advanced cloning of smartphones to monitor text messages. However it can be as simple as using the widely used Apple tools, “Find my…” app or slipping an Apple Airtag into a bag, pocket or car. There are similar apps and devices for Android smartphones.
