Access to stolen credit card data stopped

A darknet website, UniCC, that since 2013, has sold stolen credit card information to criminals is closing. But not because of international police co-operation but because the criminals running it are retiring!

How much is their estimated retirement fund? £260m.

I was amazed by this quote from the BBC:

“The anonymous owners of UniCC thanked the criminal fraternity for their business,..”

I have been criticised when presenting on cyber security to businesses, by business owners, when I refer to cyber-crime and ransomware as “just business” for the criminals. That quote looks like one any business would give in similar circumstances!
