The UK Government’s Online Safety Bill has many good provisions, and others that people object to, or feel will not solve the issues they are supposed to. An example of this is that “live streaming” has not been included in the bill.

I am always amazed how politicians can ignore the advice of, or worse still not seek the advice of technology experts when writing technology laws. It appears their only criteria is “chasing votes”.
