I have a modern car and read this with interest.

The section “Anonymization and Aggregation” is of particular interest, anonymous is not really anonymous, in our world of big data.

Of course when I am in the car, using Apple Maps on my iPhone for navigation, connected through CarPlay, I am leaving a whole loaf of bread crumbs everywhere to my activities. Then there is Apple “Find My”, connections to cell towers, CCTV, traffic light and speed cameras, Apple Pay when I buy fuel, etc, etc, etc.
