Here is an article from last week that is an in depth look at the Vice Society hacking gang’s operations. It was issued by the following US government agencies; the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC).

The idea of the advisory is to make those people, who need to defend against these types of actions, aware of how the hacking gangs operate and their attack methodologies.

Both are worth a read over coffee to get an idea of what organisations and individuals face when it comes to cyber security threats. Remember, you might think yourself a small target when it comes to the internet, but you could be collateral damage, if a member of your team opens a spam email by mistake.
