Bitdefender, in conjunction with Europol, the Zürich Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Zürich Cantonal Police and the NoMoreRansom Project, has created a decryptor for the LockerGoga ransomware.
This will help you is you are infected with the exact version of the malware that this system will decrypt (this will because your ransomware resistant back-up failed in some way, not because you did not have a back-up), but it will not stop the threat actors extorting a payment from you by threatening to release your stolen information into the public domain.
