Here are a couple of the current examples of Android malware that could compromise your organisation, reported in the technical press this week.

Malicious Android apps with 1M+ installs found on Google Play (bleepingcomputer.com)
They have different malicious intent and wrap themselves up in different types of innocent looking apps, but the thing they have in common is that, until exposed as a threat, anyone can download them from the Google Play store.
You have control over your; ransomware defences and mitigation, ransomware resilient back-ups, information segregation, the correct implementation of AAA, anti-virus solutions for both end points and the cloud etc. etc.. But the Android devices connecting and interacting with your systems are probably the property of your staff and so maybe you little control over those.
