Phishing emails in the wild – how can this infect you?

Threat actors are always looking for ways to evade your anti-virus software and other technical defences you use. There is an active Qbot malware email phishing campaign being run across the world that is compromising the Windows Control panel of infected machine – which can evade some software defences. This is where staff training, first to recognise and deal with phishing emails and then having the correct response if a malware infection happens is an essential element in any cyber security plan.
