I wrote about the potential of scams around the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria last week:

These people know no shame and will exploit any human suffering or weakness to line their own pockets – it is up to us to be on guard against them, because they will not stop. Have a look at Hannah Gelbart’s article to familiarise yourself with the tactics these fraudsters use.
