Here is a good news cyber security story:
When enquiring about buying distributed denial of service attacks, the hackers were duped into giving their information to law enforcement. An excellent example of social engineering – offer the victim something they really want at a price they cannot refuse.
This is what law enforcement should be doing to catch cyber criminals – not asking us to accept a lowered level of privacy.
