The Council has had to send out thousands of letter following being caught up in the security breach at Capita.

Capita is the largest outsourcing company in the country offering a wide range of services that businesses, organisations, government departments and government national and local use. Probably to save money – so why not go to the largest, I bet their security used to look good when pitching for more work!
Colchester City Council will not be the last organisation having to write “we are sorry… Capita” letters.
