What is end to end encryption and why are police concerned about its rise? – BBC News
As with all E2EE articles terrorists and child abusers are mentioned.
Law enforcement already has due process and needs evidence, once completed a judge can issue a court order for them to proceed. Bring in a ban on everyone using E2EE and the law abiding will continue using compromised privacy, the criminals will move onto something else.
