Here is something to read on Saturday morning over coffee – Apple’s move to USB C.

Renaud Foucart, a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Lancaster University Management School, Lancaster University has written about several aspects of the change including “green washing” and “follow the money”.

Apple has switched from its Lightning connector to USB-C — we explain which is better and why they did it (theconversation.com)

I am still using Lightning cables for my Apple devices but welcome this change to USB C, but obviously the perfectly functioning Lightning cables are bound for recycling, upcycling or landfill.

Have a good weekend.
