I think the biggest pan we have in our kitchen is about 15l (about three and a quarter gallons). We use it for batch cooking.
But what is the biggest pot you have in your kitchen?
Of course, regular readers of “Because It’s Friday”, know that this question is heading to something I found on the internet. A pot that is so big it requires a ladder so the server can climb down inside to reach the food.
This cauldron is associated with an Indian religious ceremony and was given to the people by Akbar the Great in 1567 – there is a smaller cauldron for when there are smaller celebrations (more information).
Some of the other “Big Batches” in this video are also incredible.
Camp Coffee
The pot in the featured image is just 750ml but filter coffee whilst still in my sleeping bag, listening to the rain on the tent, is probably the best coffee in the world!
Have a good weekend.
