Apple has issued two patches for vulnerabilities that are currently being exploited by threat actors:

As always check these have been done especially for any device that used for “BYOD” with your information.
Othe news on Apple updates
Recently Apple moved to iOS 18 and at that point my iPad could no longer be updated – I am stuck with iOS which I know will, over time become redundant. From my point of view this will be an issue sooner rather than later as I use it for my cyber security work – I have a brand-new iPad due in the New Year.
However this is not the case with everyone, but as part of Apple’s commitment to supporting older devices they do issue security updates for older iOS versions – and I got one the other day.
