To increase the attack surface of this extortion ransomware attack threat actors did not go after a single organisation, they targeted and breached an IT company that was holding information for more than 140 organisations, much of it very sensitive:

Evide, a Londonderry-based IT company is working with specialist officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) investigating the data breach.
