I have written about Apple AirTags a number of times as they have the potential to seriously threaten a person’s privacy and security. Even though that was never the intention when Apple produced the very useful devices. But it does leave the question floating that why did not the richest company in the world have the foresight to realise that bad people would abuse the AirTags? Why are Apple playing catch-up with their user’s privacy and security.
Now Bruce Schneier has an article that points to a German based company claiming to have developed a technique to bypass the anti-stalker protection Apple has added to the AirTags.
