I am sure you, like me, have disabled cookie tracking in all your browsers. However I am always wary of a software solution, as someone will always write code to circumvent the solution and of course that is what unscrupulous websites have done to re-enable third party tracking cookies on some browsers. Check out the link below, where Dan Goodin, of ArsTechnica, explains the process in some detail and promotes the use of the Brave browsers as a way of defending your privacy from these actions.

I have tried the Brave software – I am still testing if it is usable browser. However one thing thing that concerned me on downloading the install package was, that I could find no “hash” for the download to check it’s authenticity. This is a bit of a miss for a company that prides itself on defending your privacy.
I will let you know in a couple of weeks what I think of the browser.
