The large number is not so much a concern but a positive move forward in the improvements in detection and enforcement by the various online platforms – 35% more images detected and removed, this 35% represents images that would have been missed in previous years and so still be available to abusers.
Let’s hope the UK Government’s Online Safety Bill will keep this enforcement and protection moving in the right direction.
