I really like this – more transparency in the Google Play Store and the way apps will use your personal information

This new policy from Google is an excellent step in improving the trust between the app developers and the users of their software. Android users who use the Play Store will start to see a Data safety section on each app page. Developers have until July 20th to complete this information and make it public – they will also have to update it if the app functionality and data handling changes.

More transparency so you can make your mind up about an app before using it and finding it is gathering and storing data about your shopping habits, location, app use etc and then passing all that onto someone else for them to process as they wish.

I do not have an Android device – but some of my support team do and they found this very useful.
