Update 22 June 2022
We have not had to wait for the next Patch Tuesday for the fix – Microsoft has issued an out-of-band patch for Windows:
Windows emergency update fixes Microsoft 365 issues on Arm devices (bleepingcomputer.com)
My advice: Either you or your IT support need to check whether these issues impact your systems. You need to have a master document that details your systems, hardware, software, online, networks, back-ups, suppliers etc – so when cyber security (or operational) issues arise you and your support teams can quickly check if you are affected. From there you can take fast, effective action.

There are reports that logging into Microsoft 365, when using ARM hardware, has been broken – Microsoft’s solution so far is to switch to the web apps if you are experiencing such issues.

Patch Tuesdays are important, not only for our collective cyber security, it is also useful for tech support companies like Octagon, to have that fixed point in their diary for Microsoft updates – they know when client network may be slowed or PCs and servers rebooted. However those patches must work and when they don’t we cannot wait until the next Patch Tuesday for the fix.
