Passwordlessness

The Guardian has a feature on on going passwordless which is worth reading:

The effectiveness of “passwordlessness” (I just made that word up) in protecting accounts is highlighted by the post I wrote on Octagon, about the issues of storing of passwords. However passwordlessness (there’s my word again) is coming, for the moment we still depend on passwords in many places, so catching up on best practice on keeping passwords secret is a worthwhile read:
