Belgium the target of Chinese cyber attacks

The Belgium government has issued documents to the Chinese government urging them to take action against Chinese hacking groups attacking Belgium public services and military.

The document details the threats, but not the nature of the attacks but refers to them as:

“…malicious cyber activities that significantly affected our sovereignty, democracy, security and society at large by targeting the FPS Interior and the Belgian Defence.”

The headquarters of NATA is based in Brussels, Belgium.
