Google Chrome clipboard issues – do you know if one of your team is using an unpatched version?

This is an accidental flaw introduced into the latest version of Chrome, which Google is fixing.

The issue with websites being able to write to the system clipboard, is that clipboard often holds sensitive information during a website interaction such as a password, bank details, crypto-currency key etc., and this flaw could allow for malicious manipulation and possible compromise of that information.

I have said before software is difficult to write – even for the biggest companies in the world, so key on top of your organisation’s patches and updates.
