The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has issued a report looking at the increase in commercial cyber tools and services.

It looks at how easy it is now for relatively low skilled threat actors to access sophisticated malware and deploy these attack buying in the services they need from, for instance, the dark web. Hackers for rent, ransomware-as-a-service, malware customised for your particular targets, phishing servers and bots for hire – it makes interesting reading. I read it over coffee on the patio using my VPN as I am away from the office.
