Back to Basics – The Collection.

This week the Wednesday Bit is about is highlighting some of the mini-series and back to basics cyber security primers I have written. Why? Because yesterday when I was speaking with a long-term client about password hygiene in their organisation, they were unaware I had a Password Primer they could have shared with their team!

The articles are not always published here on Smart Thinking, I also publish chapters on both CyberAwake and Octagon Technology.

The Back to Basics Collection

Here they are in no particular order.

The Credentials Primer also includes links to my mini-series on Authentication, Authorisation and Accountability.

Never Finished

At one time or another I have considered the above series complete, however I so found out that this is not the case – all of them have had extra chapters added or uodates made to the contect as the cyber security landscape changes – have a look at the ransomware or password seriies to see what I mean.

It is always worth a revisit to the pages to see what has changed.

Do you have a suggestion?

One thing that also came out of my meeting yesterday was a suggestion for another topic for the back to basics treatment. That will be coming soon, but if you have a suggestion for a back to basics feature then get in contact and I will see what I can do for you. I’ll even add link to you, in the article, if you are interested.
