Whilst I was researching for my VPN article yesterday, I came across something I wrote back at the end of 2022 about hybrid worker cyber security.
Cyber Security and Hybrid Working
I am in the middle of an IT and Cyber Security Audit for a client and just last week, I was discussing these issues with the client and their team. Part of the meeting was to find solutions that provided the level of cyber security they needed but did not adversely impact the team’s ability to deliver a complicated and particularly sensitive service. Not always an easy balance to reach – with both sides sometimes having to compromise.

Do you have a working hybrid worker policy?
What you do not approve of hybrid working! That’s fine, but let me ask you ask you this:
“Does you CEO or other senior person work from home or when they are on holiday?”
If the answer is no, then I am done here. If it is yes, then you do have hybrid workers and you do need a working policy.
