I know this looks like an IT post about the cost of inkjet ink verses everything else you have to pay for when printing a page – (DEC inserted) including the environmental cost, but it isn’t.
How many printers do you need to print Wikipedia?
For today’s “Because It’s Friday” we have a video explaining the “how to” and costs of printing an “always up to date” hard copy of the online, volunteer created and maintained encyclopaedia, Wikipedia. You will see in the video the important part the volunteers may have to play in this project.
Before you watch it – have a guess how many inkjet printers you will need to get the job done and keep it up to date?
Your Takeaway!
Buy laser printers.
Have a good weekend.
