Do you like Christmas shopping?

Whether you are a shopper or not, I have the blog post for you…

For the last few years, as part of our Christmas celebrations, I have been asked to write an article for Octagon Technology exploring the world of “presents for geeks” – which has proven to be one of the most popular blog posts of previous years.

The 2022 version has been published today and includes a range of gifts including Star Trek wine and a retro gaming console. No affiliate links it is just for fun.

Earlier in the year I came across this article at The Guardian which I have been saving for this Christmas post. They were not meant to be Christmas presents but many of these 31 things could be a great geek present:

The best £6 I ever spent! 31 small items that could make your life a tiny bit better | Gadgets | The Guardian

There is more…

Octagon Technology’s “Show us Yours” Christmas competition is up and running on their Facebook page.

Have you put tinsel on your monitor? Is the hopeful mistletoe in your cubicle?
Has Santa set up his grotto by the water cooler? Or are you bringing Christmas cheer to the corner of the living room where you have your office? If you show us yours we will show you ours.
Take a photo of the Christmas decorations in your office – be it an office, your desk or your home office – upload it to our Facebook page and the ten best will get a prize just in time for Christmas.
The prize is inspired by Diana who could not find a charge cable for her phone when heading for a hotel last week – you can never have too many charge cables. Win and we will send you a cable of your choice.

Why not take part, there are prizes.
