Lancashire Police and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) are investigating.
This type of incident can happen to any business or organisation. Ask yourself these three questions:
1 Do we have an effective back-up? Not sure what “effective” is then ask.
2 Do we have an incident response plan that addresses the needs of the organisation, our people, our suppliers and our clients and customers?
3 Have we had training to fill the gap between our technical defences and our people who use our systems?
